About

Founded in 2005, at the beginning of their relationship, Celer was created as a musical and artistic collaboration between Danielle Baquet-Long and Will Long. The couple was married on March 1, 2007, in Santa Ana, California U.S.A., and the group ended the production of new works in July 2009 after the loss of Danielle Baquet-Long, who died on July 8, 2009 of congenital heart failure. Although the production of new works by the group is ended, Will Long, the remaining member, will continue to publish the unpublished works, created prior to July, 2009, of which "about 25 as yet unpublished Celer releases are still planned in the future." History

Between 2005 and 2007, the couple created 22 releases, which they Self-released on their own, packaged in handmade, hand-painted packages, with designs, and individual stencils. The handmade packaging designs have been described as "deliciously mysterious," (2) where "Muted and bleach colours stretch as far as the eye can see in these panoramic paintings for the mind," (3) and the music as "deeply personal, or unwittingly obscure."
